Michigan Editors in Boise City BOISE CITY Aug 2Special telegram to THE HEKALD The Michigan Press association as-sociation visited this city today They arrived at 130 pm when a committee appointed ap-pointed by the board of trade consisting of Governor Shoup Mayor Pinney and Kasear Eastman met them at Nampa and came with them to the city Several other gentlemen among whom were Hon George Ainslie Colonel French of the Sun and G Herroult of the Statesman who went to Nampa returned re-turned with the party At 4 pm a banquet was given at tho Overland hotel Previous to this tho visiting editors had been driven about the city and suburbs in carriages The governors guards band was present speeches wero made and the pencil drivers very well entertained Both tho Democratic and Republican clubs met last evening at their rospective halls which are nearly opposite on Main street The Democrats nominated thirty two men out of which nineteen will bo selected a delegates at tho meeting to beheld be-held on Tuesday evening next These delegates del-egates are to go to the county convention to be held on the 9th of August next
