Clara Turner and Signe Jensen. Among those attending from the Fackrell Camp were Kari Byington, Faye Byington, Camille Mitchell. Allyson Taylor. Phyllis Miller. Lou Chaston. Pam Derbidge, Irene Janes. Garvene Slaugh. Mar-lene Mar-lene McQuiston, Marie Paget, Melinda Paget, Kris MacRae, and Patrice Mitchell. THEY GAVE prizes for the lowest and highest roll call numbers, to people who had dressed most like the Christinas Christ-inas motif, and to those who are not yet DUPs. It was reported re-ported that the Fackrell Camp's Help-for-Santa project pro-ject was a great success, am The annual conjoint holiday party of (he John Pack and the Fackrell Camps of the DUP. was held Monday, Dec. 29 in the Pine Room of the Servus Drug. The John Pack Camp has sponsored this activity for several years. When the Fackrell Fack-rell Camp was originated a few years ago, it was decided to have the party together. FACKRELL Camp Capt. Kari Byington, conducted. Capt. Dora Webb, of the John Pack Camp, was unable to attend. Camille Mitchell of the Fackrell Camp, gave the lesson les-son on various clocks found at the DUP Museum. She specifically speci-fically talked about Phineas Young, who was the owner of one such clock. To put everyone every-one in the Christmas mood, she read an article giving some facts about the first Christmas in the valley. MRS. MITCHELL also read letters from the mission field written by four members who are serving as missionaries. They included Mvrtis Burn-ingham, Burn-ingham, Myra DeWaal, Myr-veldean Myr-veldean Dangerfield and Nora Hogan. A roast beef dinner, with all of the trimmings was enjoyed and capped with dutch apple pie. |
