"Which Way America" written by Mr. Terry was performed by the fifth and sixth grades under the direction of their teachers. Following the program a special presentation was made to Principal Verlin Terry. He was honored with a plaque for his outstanding contributions con-tributions to the children in the ten years he has been the principal at Washington School. There will also be a color portrait taken and hung in the main hall of the school to honor him as the first principal of the school. Officers this year are, front, Sherry Fredrickson, teacher representative; Diane Gibbs, vice president; DeAnn Anderson, president; Eileen Knighton, secretary-treasurer. Center, Joyce Cox, newsletter; DeLona Wuihrich; room mother's representative; Maria Moody, individual development; Norma Richardson; health and welfare. Back, Cathy Burns, newsletter; Pam Kirk, membership and finance; Verlin Terry, principal; Karen Gurr, services; Elaine Barnett, historian. Not present for picture, Mary McKee, education and Marlene Stubbs, hospitality. |
