Show By ALICE MITCHELL 2S-11M Paul Curtis, son of Don and Jean Curtis ran a power saw up and down his leg and had over 90 stitches. He is able to walk with crutches. Arch Widdison had an accident ac-cident and had to have stitches in his left hand. Byron Ranck had an interesting and painful week as he has had to keep his arm and shoulder in a brace. Garth Hogan has been doing do-ing all sorts of things with his wrist in a sling. On the more positive side Carla Johnson has moved to Hawaii. She and her friend Tanya Parkin will work in Kona. Randy Johnson is going to play on a professional football team in Montreal. Bob and Mae Telford journeyed jour-neyed out to the Uintah Basin for the weekend. They attended at-tended meetings with the Indians. Jean Maughan is on her way to recovery after spending spend-ing time in the Holy Cross Hospital. Gwen Mcllrath visited in West Bountiful last Sunday. The Terry Sellers are parents of a baby girl. At home is a son Jeff. The Rex Maughans had several visitors from Cache County last Sunday. They came down to pay honor to Mike Maughan who will enter the LTM in Provo on May 11 He will learn French prior to his mission to the Canada Montreal Mission. Among the guests were his grandmother grandfather and great-grandmother. The Scouts paper drive will be tomorrow, Saturday, April 29. Papers should be lied in bundles and on the front porch by 9 a.m. The First Ward will hold its big fund raising dinner lonight April 28 in the cultural cul-tural hall. |
