Wheelwright, General Manager Published in the Davis County Clipper First publication Aug. 18, 1978 Last publication Sept. 1, 1978 C-253 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Please be advised that an appeal has been filed with the Centerville Board of Adjustment Adjust-ment by Mr. F. H. Kimball, President, KLOD Development Develop-ment Corporation, requesting variances of the preliminary plat of the Rolling Hills Estates Es-tates Subdivision, Centerville, Utah. The requested variances are as follows: 1. The plat as drawn necessitated a short portion of 150 East Street to have a fifteen percent grade. This begins at 1975 North Street and extends approximately 300 feet north. This was caused by the extreme steepness steep-ness of the area and the need to level the approach to 1975 North. 2. The street on the extreme south of the subdivision, 1825 North, has two problems. One being the length of the street between intersections inter-sections which exceeds the maximum distance prescribed by City Ordinance. Or-dinance. The second problem is the fifteen percent grade. Both . problems were caused by the extreme slope on either side of the street making it impossible to have any other streets extending from 1825 North. For the purpose of hearing arguments for or against the granting of these variances the Centerville Board of Adjustment Ad-justment will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, September 13, 1978, at 7:30 P.M. in the Centerville City . Office, 521 North 400 West, ' Centerville, Utah. The public is invited to at- ' : tend and voice opinion either j for or against this proposal.
