Show Former Resident pies In Accident " , )..,,,aM Si..".'.; ANILL VANDE MERWE Two 18-year old Chambers-wrg, Chambers-wrg, Pa. women were killed iarly Saturday in a head-on ollision on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Reading as hey were returning home rom the shore according to Pennsylvania State Police, jowmansville. POLICE SAID Diane Louise .ander, 1868 Clinton Ave., vas driving the compact car n which she and Janill A. ,'andeMerwe, R.R. 4, for-nerly for-nerly of Bountiful, were rilled. MISS VandeMerwe was !fn Oct. 12, 1959, in Salt City, the daughter of F. William and Janice Court VandeMerwe, R.R. 4, Forest Road. She was a member of the LDS Church. She graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1977 and would have been a sophomore at Ricks College Rexburg, Idaho. IN ADDITION to her parents, sh is survived by two brothers, William J. and Brian M. VandeMerwe, both at home; maternal grandparents, grand-parents, Byron 0. and Bertha P. Court, Magna. She was engaged to be married in the Washington LDS Temple to Gregory Smith. Aon Avon Lake, Ohio. THE FUNERAL was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the LDS Church with Bishop William C. Zentner officiating. officiat-ing. Burial was in the Lincoln Cemetery. |
