Show West Btfl. By ALICE MITCHELL 29S-U5 This was the big week for all school children like Corrie Wild, daughter of Wendell and Mary Wild. She began kindergarten at West Bountiful Boun-tiful Elementary School. A few days before she had been feted .at her fifth birthday birth-day party, where many of her friends' were guests. Another special guest was her grandfather grand-father Rod Stringham and wife Louise. They came to have birthday cake with their granddaughter. ' Tgie young people of the AP ana Young Ladies of the 4th Ward have been planning . their opening social for Sept. 6. They will enjoy an evening of water skiing. Kenny and Elinor Zoellner visited St. George last week. Kenny went with his mother to visit with her brother and sister in Hurricane. Elinor visited with her mother In St. George. The Wanless Southwicks look forward to a reunion with Jerrie's family, the Rueland Ward family. They are coming com-ing to the West Bountiful area next week to organize a family organization and visit. John and Dixie Taft enjoyed a visit to Roy to attend the August birthday party of the family. The Clarence Samuelsons were entertained at a Mexican dinner at the home of their son Lance and wife Kathy in Layton. ) Congratulations to Karen and Dale George on the birth of their baby boy and to Neil and Jill Breinholt on the birth of their baby boy. ( The Spencer Ham 1 1 Ions had a lot of excitement as their baby climbed out of his crib and proceeded to eat the ashes out of the fireplace. The paramedics saved the day and the baby i? 'veil. Rick anu Vicky Bingham, former residents of West Bountiful have been visiting from California. They brought their new baby, Rebecca, with them. The Gary Edmonds went to ' Disneyland this summer. They also visited at Knott's Berry Farm. 1 1 T-ichers of the 4th W ard hau some real adventures adven-tures as they journeyed to Shoshone Lake in Wyoming. They were caught out on the lake in their kyacks when a big snow storm hit the area. The young people and their leaders Steve Richins and Lon Childs helped them to a quick retreat from the lake. |
