Show COri TO I!o:p Class Action Suit FARMINGTON - A hearing hear-ing has been set for Thursday, Sept. 7, in Second District Court here regarding a class action suit against Farming-ton Farming-ton City in connection with approval of a housing subdivision. sub-division. THE HEARING before Judge J. Duffy Palmer seeks dismissal of a motion filed by the Complon Bench Citizens' Committee. The dismissal request was filed this week asking that the subdivision approval either be dismissed or handled as a class action suit. The Compton Bench Citizens' Ci-tizens' Committee, representing represent-ing northern Farmington residents, filed suit in Second District Court challenging Farmington City Council's approving the Farmington Hills Subdivision located south of 1 100 North and east of 200 West. THE DISMISSAL suit by Farmington City officials allege that the motion by the citizens' group was improperly filed. The suit by city officials also denies that Farmington and its officials violated any law in approving the subdivision, as is alleged in the suit filed by the Citizens' Ci-tizens' Committee, grb |
