Luttrell, president of the Utah organization, or-ganization, conducted the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lay-ton Lay-ton have returned from a ten day vacation spent in Sun City, Calif. The Sixth Ward Releif Society held the autumn opening open-ing social in the Sixth Ward Relief Society room. An entertaining program was presented and a delicious luncheon served. Plans were made for the coming year's activities. Commander Dale Olsen announced an-nounced that on Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. the American Legion and Auxiliary will meet at the Post Home. He will be assisted by his wife, Frankie Olsen auxiliary au-xiliary president. Special guests will be boy and girl staters, their parents and local public officials. The public is invited. Refreshments Refresh-ments will be served.' Frankie Olsen, auxiliary president, conducted a planning plan-ning meeting recently at the home of Bertha Muir. The year's project will be to carpet the post recreation room. All members have agreed to help on the project. A committee has been appointed ap-pointed to make gift items to be sold at monthly meetings. The funds will be used to pay on the carpet project. Most of the family members of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Taylor spent the last two weeks of August with their parents. There were children and grandchildren who enjoyed their grandparents' home, yard and good food. This year please send UNICEF cards. It will make next year a better one for children around the world.
