MORTENSEN Salt Lake Rites Dr. and Mrs. Tung Sheng Yang, Tiawan, Republic of China announce the marriage of their daughter Ching-Mei to Marvin J. Mortensen. HE IS the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin J. Mortensen, 423 W. 3400 South, Bountiful. The couple were married Sept. 22, 1976, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A wedding breakfast was held at the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful Boun-tiful with a reception at Carillon. BRIDESMAIDS were Beverly King, Gail Winegar, Judi Haslam, Ruth Mortensen, Morten-sen, Jane Mortensen and Sally Mortensen. Their gowns were of pink crepe and they carried pink roses. THE MOTHERS were dressed in rose crepe. Kristen King was flower girl. Best man was Aaron Allred with Douglas Reed, Greg Scholes and Tom Hsiek as , ushers. THE COUPLE honeymooned in San Francisco. Francis-co. They are making their home in Salt Lake City. Prenuptial parties were hosted by Beverly King and Judi Haslam. The bride has attended the College of Hawaii, LDS Business College and BYU. THE BRIDEGROOM has attended Viewmont High School and BYU Extention. He has filled an LDS mission in Tawian (Republic of China). The reception was given by her American foster parents, Mr.' and Mrs. Macoy McMurray, 2235 Bendamere Circle, Holladay, Utah. |
