Show Woods Cross Guest of honor at a luncheon held recently was Mrs. Diana Gibbs. She has served on the Stake APMIA board, but was recently appointed ap-pointed to fulfill a ward position. posi-tion. Attending the luncheon and bidding farewell were Blance Nelson, Dot Strand, LeNore Peterson and Judy Kjar. South Bountiful Third Ward Relief Society held their opening social on Friday evening at the cultural hall, with the theme "Memories" carried out through decorations decora-tions and program. A special speaker was secured for the event, which also featured a dinner. In charge were Lila Nelson, president; Linda Smith and Betty Jo Hansen. Get well wishes are sent to Delsa Stevens who is suffering suffer-ing from back problems. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Carr and family were at the Salt Lake Airport this week-end to meet their new family member for the school year. Luis Castillo of Guatamala will be spending his Sophomore year at Woods Cross High School and enjoying enjoy-ing the Carr family in the process. Luis is a Foreign Exchange student, the second one for the Carr family in the past year. Garth and Beth Rosenlund and their three children have sold their home in Cahoon Acres, and will be moving this weekend to West Bountiful. Boun-tiful. Sorry to have them leave. Mrs. Bonnie Anderson, accompanied ac-companied by daughters Mari Lynn and MarGene, traveled to San Francisco this week, with Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. Jeanette Ball of Murray, to visit with family members in that area. |
