Show West I Btfl. The week was saddened by the death of Leo Page, who has lived in the area for seventy-five years. He has kept a beautiful yard except during the last weeks of his life. He will be ever remembered remem-bered for his industry and will to work. He built three of the homes north of the City Hall on the east side of the street. Leo and Bertha have been an integral in-tegral part of the community, for many, many years. We wish the family the best and express sympathy in their bereavement. The residents of 200 North and 10 West (in the Fackrell Subdivision) are happy as they view their long awaited road. Now the winds can blow and the elements do their thing for the winter, according accord-ing to the James Andersons and others. Vonnie McSwain enjoyed visiting in West Bountiful. She baby-sat while her mother Carol was away. Vonnie Von-nie is learning to adapt herself her-self to marriage and life in Farmington. Shelley Salmon and her family are going around in the usual frustrating circles as they prepare for the wedding wed-ding of Shelley and her fiance, fian-ce, Russell Mills, brother of Sherrie Johnson, on October 12. Shelley was entertained at a miscellaneous shower on September 23rd. Hostesses for the event were Eileen Salmon, Rickie DeWaal, and Ruth Salmon. Guests were members of families on all sides. Jane Page is at home recuperating after surgery. She has done some walking and even ventured to go out to eat dinner. Her neighbors and children are keeping special watch over her. Her son, Dr. Tom Page, and his wife, Dixie, are with her as often as possible. Togetherness is always shown in the Neil Christensen family. This week Neil and oldest son, Kevin, prepared to join the elk hunters. Keith and Karl Paget, twin sons of the Loyd Pagets, are still carrying out their togetherness. They have been called on missions to Japan. Of course, they will go to different missions. Ruth Winegar underwent surgery at the St. Murks Hospital. We wish her well. |
