Bountiful By BERTHA L MUIR 295-3742 Mrs. Dora Trowbridge and members of the Republican Women's Organization sponsored spon-sored an open house to meet the candidates non-partisan meeting held recently at the Trowbridge home. All six candidates were present and each spoke briefly and answered questions ques-tions in the question and answer period. The blood pressure check time at the Golden Years Center has been changed. Nurses will check blood pressures pres-sures at the center on Monday from 1-2 p.m. and on Wednesday Wed-nesday from 12-3. Mrs. Marian Hardy is reported to be doing well following an eye operation. The Bay View Literary Club will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the home of Mrs. Richard L. Evans in Salt Lake City. The program will be given by a guest speaker. Luncheon will be served at 1 p.m. All members are urged to attend by President Margaret Mar-garet Dunn. True! A move is under way to abolish the exclamation point. People aren't surprised at anything any more.
