October Fire Report For Farmington City The Farmington Fire Department has answered 13 ambulance calls and 7 fire calls during October, Lt. Dean Williams, medical officer of-ficer of the department, has reported. THE FIREMEN responded to three grass fires, one power pole fire, one rubbish fire, one house fire which was extinguished before much damage had been done, and one electric stove fire. Several personnel of the fire department will attend a medical conference in the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City on Nov. 8, 9 and 10. LT. WILLIAMS reported that there was a hay barn fire on Nov. 2 at the Wheeler Farm in West Farmington. The department was called out at 2 a.m. and were on the scene for 15 hours. There was internal combustion making it difficult to put out. The Firemen's Women Auxiliary served food to the men during those 15 hours fighting the fire.
