Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mansfield of Vernal and Mr. and Mrs. La Von Atwood of Altamont. Bishop Harvey McKee had surgery in the Layton hospital April 14. He had returned to Vernal but was only here a few days when he had to go to Salt Lake City to have his eyes checked. Reva McKee is with her husband in Salt Lake City. Arza Adams reports that his doctors says he is in very good condition. He doesn't have to use his walker. He is doing do-ing yard work and getting ready to plant his garden. Todd Parker and Marty McCarrell were home from Snow College during the weekend. They attended Sister Shelley L. Tripp's farewell testimonial and visited their families. Carol Feltch and Mildred Mansfield attended at-tended the state poetry convention last weekend on the L'niversity of Utah campus cam-pus in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Robert ( Julie i Raines, mother of six children, will graduate from L'SL' Education Center in Rooevelt. She will receive her bachelors degree in special education. After she raises her family, she plans to teach. She is doing some tutoring at the present time. Berkley Hall, another Maeser resident, resi-dent, will receive his second bachelors degree, this one is in elementary education. educa-tion. His wife is Barbara Hacking) Hall and they have three children. Berkley is hoping to teach in one of the elementary schools in the area this fall. A graduation dinner will honor the L'SU Education Center students in the mall of the L'intah Basin .Area Vocational Center in Roosevelt April 28. They will graduate with the class of 19113 at L'tah State L'niversity in Logan June 4. Funeral services for Ethel Lind Duvall were held in Price April 20. Those attending atten-ding from Vernal were Mr. and Mrs Elmer Lind and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mansfield. |
