Show cK(ewlyeweds Will Make Home In Salt Lake Reluming this week from a honeymoon in California are Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Crandall, wlio were wed in rites on Wednesday, June 16, in the Salt Lake Temple. The bride, the former Miss Beth3 Evans, instructor in dramatic art at the high school, is a daughter of Mrs. Lizzie Evans of Spanish Fork and Mr. Crandall is a son of Mrs. Eva Crandall of Springville. The couple are making their home in Salt Lake City. Among the lovely pre-nuptial parties honoring the bride, was a trousseau tea given at the double apartment of her mother, Mrs. Lizize Evans and her sister, Mrs. Sterling Tanner of Spanish Fork who were the hostesses. As the guests entered, they were registered in the bride's book by Mrs. Carlyle Crandall of Springville. Spring-ville. Background music was played play-ed by a string quartet, also from this city. After leaving the trousseau room, guests were greeted as they entered the downstairs apartment apart-ment where refreshments were served by Mrs. Lizzie Evans, Mrs. Jayne Tanner, Mrs. Eva Crandall, the groom's mother, and the bride-to-be, Beth Evans, dressed in a striking gold colored crepe evening gown. All the hostesses present were in evening dress. Tiny Miss Mary Elizabeth Tanner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Tanner, was the flower girl. Dressed in a dainty blue gown, she carried a basket of daisies and helped to welcome guests. Music was played by Mrs. Blanche Nielson, Mrs. Leslie Rees, and Mrs. Helen McGee of Spanish Fork. A musical program was furnished fur-nished by Mrs. Gladys Christmas, Mrs. Frances Clark, Springville, Miss Thora Whiting of Mapleton and Mrs. Helen Hawkins, Spanish Fork. Dainty refershments were served serv-ed by the dining room hostesses: Mrs. Afton Gardner, Mrs. Afton Isaac, and Mrs. Blanche Jensen of Spanish Fork, assisted by the following girls from Springville: Dolores Child, Afton Ash, Carol Loveridge, and Louise Rowe. |
