Show ception Cjiven Couple After Home W edding Mr. and Mrs. John Hardy announce the marriage of their daughter Joyce, to Richard Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Johnson of Provo. The marriage took place in a ceremony at the home of the bride's parents Friday evening, in a setting of blue delpheniums and white Madonna lilies. A. G. Peterson Peter-son of the stake presidency, performed per-formed the ceremony by candlelight candle-light in the presence of immediate family members, and close friends. The bride was charming in an aqua blue formal with corsage of pink rosebuds and gardenias. She was attended by her sister, Miss Ruth Hardy, as maid of honor, who wore white with corsage of pink carnations. Leonard Johnson of Provo, was best man for his brother. The guests were received by parents of the bride and groom. Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Hardy wore corsages of pink carnations. Adding a note to the pretty decorative dec-orative theme of pink and white, waa the 4-tiered wedding cake with pink rose decorations. Thirty guests attended the informal in-formal wedding reception following follow-ing the ceremony and were served a wedding luncheon. The newlyweds left after the reception on a honeymoon trip to Wyoming and Idaho. For her going go-ing away, the new Mrs. Johnson wore an attractive all white suit with red accessories. Upon their return, they plan to make their home for the present at Murray. |
