Show FUNERAL SERVICE TODAY AT 3 P.M. FOR GEO. WRIGHT Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today at 3 p.m. for George Wright, 82, well known reti red farmer of this city, who died Sunday at the Utah Valley hospital of ailments ail-ments incident to his age. The services will be held in the First wa r d chapel under direction of the Second ward bishopric. Friends may call at the home of Lewis Whitney, 587 South Main street from 11 a.m., until time of the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by Valley Mortuary. He was born at Bradfield, Norfolk, Nor-folk, England, March 19, 1866, the son of George and Mary Ann Hedge Wright. He married Jane Needham, Dec. 12, 1893 in North Walsham, Norfolk, England. And in 1907 they received their endowments en-dowments in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He came to the United States and to Utah in 1906 and lived at Spanish Fork until 1908 when he moved to Springville where he has lived since. He was a member of the LDS church, was an active high priest and did considerable temple work. Mrs. Wright died only a month ago. He is survived by one son, George A. Wright of San Gabriel, Calif., and two grand-children and two great-grandchildren. |
