Show FUNERAL FRIDAY IN 4TII WARD FOR ATHUS JOHNSON Athus Johnson, 56, life long resident of Springville, died unexpectedly un-expectedly Wednesday morning at a Payson hospital, where he was taken Tuesday evening. Death was attributed to a blood clot. Funeral services are announced for Friday at 2 p.m. in the Fourth ward chapel, under direction direc-tion of V. C." Mendenhall, bishop of the Third ward. Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral home Thursday evening and at the family residence, 128 East, Third South street, from 10 a.m., Friday, until time of the services. Burial will be in the City cemetery. Mr. Johnson was born in Springville, Spring-ville, December 18, 1891, a son of Moses and Anna Kearns Johnson. received his education in the Springville elementary grade schools and high school and also attended the old Hungerford Academy. He was engaged in the Poultry business at the time of his death. He married Zella Hardy June 11, 1928, at Heber City and they had made their home here always. Survivors include his widow, also his mother, Mrs. Anna K. Burns of Springville; two sons and a daughter, Randle A., Robert B. and Joanna Johnson of Springville. |
