Show IY1T. EMMONS Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hartman have returned home after spending spend-ing two months in Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Walda Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles, Sunday, March Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Hansen and daughter, Mrs. Donna Iorg, went to Salt Lake City Sunday, While away they will go to Bush-nell Bush-nell Hospital to visit Hershal Iorg, Donna's husband. Word was received that Mr; and Mrs. LaVon Atwood, formerly form-erly of Mt. Emmons, have a new baby girl, born in the Roosevelt hospital, March 6. Mrs. Dicy Lister has gone to Heber to spend the rest of the winter with relatives. Lloyd Crosby has been released releas-ed from the Navy where he has been serving in the Pacific area. Cloyd Powell of Farmington is visiting with friends and relatives rel-atives over the week end. rado, today with his brother-in-law, Mr. Cook, of Steamboat Springs. m Mrs. Zella Thacker, who is seriously ser-iously ill, was taken to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt hospital last Friday and from there was transferred to a hospital in Provo. A large crowd attended the annual an-nual R E A election meeting Saturday Sat-urday night. Refreshments were served and dancing was enjoyed after the meeting. Ned Mitchell has been released from the army after two years of service. Mrs. Alta Cook and children of Steamboat Springs, Colorado visited vis-ited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell, over the week end. Mrs. Ina Mecham and daughter, daugh-ter, Jean, are visiting hi Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mary Thomas is home after visiting at Manti, Salt Lake and Logan for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. LaRane Thacker Thack-er spent last week end in Salt Lake visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Atwood and sister, Mrs. Lew Hardman. |
