Show Gusher Frances Semken Funeral Held For Mrs. Mary Peterman Funeral services were held on Friday, March 18 at the. Gusher Baptist church for Mrs. Mary Peterman, 89, who died Monday, March 14 in Salt Lake, under the direction of Rev. Nolan Beaird. Speakers were Rev. Beaird, pastor pas-tor of the Gusher Baptist church and Forrest Goodrich of Tridell. Music consisted of a song by the Ft. Duchesne choir, composed of Mrs. Perry, Mrs. Bodily, Mrs. Jensen, Mrs. Paul Calder, Mrs. Coleman and Mrs. Glen, who sang "Beyond the Sunset; Mr. and Mrs. Parley Goodrich sang, "Abide With Me, 'Tis Eventide," and Rex Taylor and Mrs. Donna Huber sang "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." Many relatives and friends attended at-tended the services, and a large assortment of floral offerings gave evidence of the feelings of the community toward Mrs. Peterman. Burial was in the Gusher cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Allred, Mrs. Robina Ferguson, . Mrs. Oral Clark and Bishop and Mrs. A. A. Perry attended Union meeting in the stake house in Roosevelt; Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Petersan, of Salt Lake City, came in to attend the funeral of his mother. Lee Eskelson, of Heber City, called on friends and relatives one day last week. Fred Schwobe had the misfortune misfor-tune to have two cows drown in his pond on- Sunday afternoon. Marion Hackford, of the U. S. Navy, arrived home from his base in San Diego to attend the funeral funer-al of his grandmother. Mrs. Stella Underwood was taken tak-en to the Vernal Hospital for treatment. Mrs. Cleo Pappas and Mrs. Robina Ro-bina Ferguson visited in Roosevelt Roose-velt Saturday afternoon. Miss Eleanor Hackford is on the sick list with a severe cold. Venice Clark was up from Moab to be with his family over the weekend. Manford Arnold and family, of Salem, spent Sunday with his father and mother,, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold. Mrs. Freida Markey has entered enter-ed a Salt Lake hospital for an operation. LaMar Jacobs, of Price, was in town on Sunday to see his daughter. |
