Show Mother Of Mrs. Don Truman Dies At St. George Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Truman arrived back home yesterday from St. George and Blanding, where they had gone to attend the funeral fu-neral and burial services for Mrs. Ella S. Washburn, 65, mother of Mrs. Truman, who died at St. George, Thursday, March 17, of a heart ailment. She was born in Holden, Aug. 31, 1889, a daughter of Walter J. and Elizabeth Kenney Stevens. She was married to Archie Chapman, Chap-man, June 7, 1917, in the Manti LDS Temple. He died, and she later married James F. Washburn in Blanding. He died in 1938. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Verl Chapman, Santa Monica, Calif.; Quinn Washburn, Wash-burn, St. George; Mrs. Lois Holmes, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Fay Truman, Roosevelt; 12 grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Burial was at Blanding. |
