Show LeetonBeeiiett Fern Houston HAVE NEW BABY Bishop and Mrs. Blayne Morrill are the happy parents of a son born at the Roosevelt Hospital Sept. 30. The little fellow weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz., and will be known as Hartley. Mrs. Morrill has had a relapse and will be in the hospital hos-pital again for a few days. Grandparents Grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Winfred Long and Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill of Tridell. Mis. Delma Long came home from Provo after having been at the home of George Houston two weeks. She will be at the home of her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law until Mrs. Morrill Mor-rill is well again. Wayne Haslem took a car load of girls from Union High School to see the ball game at Judge Memorial in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Houston ! motored to Salt Lake City Sunday to visit Russell Harrison who is very ill. PRIMARY HELD HERE Primary has been held at Bennett Ben-nett since the ward was joined with Whiterocks until arrange-coul.d arrange-coul.d be made for the change. A party was given Friday at the home of Mrs. Joyce Bolton, Copilot Co-pilot teacher. Mothers and Primary Pri-mary Stake officers were enters jtained with games and a nice i lunch. BIRTHDAY DINER Mrs. W. W. Siddoway of Vernal, her sister, Alice Dunster of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Fay Stevenson of Wasington D. C. came from Vernal Vern-al Friday to visit Mrs. Fern Houston Hous-ton and enjoy her birthday dinner which was enjoyed by all. Martin Hamaker of Price, Weston Wes-ton Hamaker and Jack Robinson of Dugway spent the weeeknd at the home of Mary Hamaker, building build-ing her a new garage. They went home Sunday evening. Kenneth Long was home over the weekend, returning Sunday to Provo where he is attending the BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Bolton visited in Vernal Saturday at the home of Mrs. Delia McKowen, Mrs. Bolton's mother. Van Killian moved his cattle from the Harmston pasture at Myton, where he has better feed and water. The beavers build dams in the river and divert the water. The dams have to be taken out every two days. |
