Show Uenil Johnson Is Roosevelt P-TA President Venil Johnson, assistant manager man-ager of the J. C. Penney Co. in Roosevelt, was elected president of the Roosevelt Parent-Teacher Association Tuesday night at the Elementary School, with Mrs. Donald Don-ald Laris named vice-president, and Mrs. Phillip Pack, re-elected secretary - treasurer. The two school principals, John H. Blaine and Lawrell Jensen, are automatically automat-ically the second and thrid vice-presidents. vice-presidents. The election followed a very interesting Family Life Institute, conducted by Dr. Rex A. Community singing was led by Mrs. David Watkins, with Mrs. R. V. Larson as accompanist. Refreshments were served at the close of the meeting by Mrs. Otto Lloyd and Mrs. Q. Lawson, cooks at the Junior High School. Installation of officers will take place at the May meeting, which will be in the form of a reception honoring the faculty members. |
