Show Paul Alexander Dahl (all West Valley City); Grant and LaTrelle Dahl (Sandy); Dr. Rex and Anna A. Dahl (Bozeman, Montana); 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother Lewis A. Dahl (Midvale). Funeral services are set for Thursday at 1 p.m., at the East Midvale Third Ward, 87 East 7100 South, where friends may call one hour before services. Burial will be in the Midvale City Cemetery. Paul Alexander Dahl, a Park City native, died on July 1 in West Valley City of causes incident to age. He was 81. He was born April 23, 1903 in Snyderville to Alexander and Annie Larson Dahl, Jr. He married Esther Craven on January 1, 1927 in the Salt Lake IDS Temple. She preceded him in death on June 4, 1974. He was a petroleum salesman for the Sinclair Refinery from 1936 to 1950, and worked as a carpenter from 1950 to 1961. Dahl served a mission for the IDS church in California from 1924 to 1926. He was a longtime Boy Scout and Youth leader and Sunday School teacher. He served 18 years as a counselor in Bishoprics of the Midvale Second and East Midvale Second Wards. He was a former member of the Midvale Fire Department, and a member of the Utah State Fireman's Association for 51 years. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law: Dr. Paul and Shirley Dahl (Tucson, Arizona); Alan and Dorothy Dahl; Richard and Joan Dahl, Calvin and Pauline Dahl |
