Show Alumnae pun lag00n0ut1ng Sacred Heart and St. Mary's Graduates to Hold Joint Gathering I Th Alumnae associations of the 'Sacred Heart academy of ugden and IK, Mary! academy of Salt Lake will hold a Joint outing at Lagoon on Tucs-. Tucs-. day. August 3. Through the gathering the two associations asso-ciations purpose to become better ac-qoatated ac-qoatated with tho idea of formulating I I. ms for carrying on the .'-ork of the International Federation of Catholic 1 Alumnae. St Mary's Alumnae became affiliated affiliat-ed with the International Federation at the biennial meeting, held In St. Louie a year ago last June. Sacred Hirt Alumnae bun but recently Joined the federation and It has now become necessary to draw ii a !-t of rules with which to govern the Utah state chapter of tho federation. At the meeting to be held on Tuesday rcxt, a committee will be appointed to draw up the constitution and l -law, and tentative pi. -wis Will be made I for the work which the two alumnae associations will undertake to do In keeping with the work outlined by the International federation. Mrs. r J. O'Carroll, governor for the state of L'tuh, will preside at thv n.eetlng and explain the object and outline the best means of cooperating with tho International federation. Miss Gladys Rich of Ugden, prudent pru-dent of the Sacred Heart Alumnae, .ml .Miss Bthel Bhxby, president of St. Mary's Alumnae, have Issued Invitations Invita-tions to each momber tj attend thl6 meeting. siit Lake members "in have on the 3 o'clock train, and thoso frcm OgdCn will leave at 3:30. Those who will not find It convenient to leave at this time will go to Lagoon on a later train. Members will provide pro-vide their own box lunches. . As this is the first "get-to-gether" outing over planned by tho two a.sso- clatlons, it is hoped that a good representation rep-resentation from both ogden and Salt Lake will be In evidence. . fr |
