Sinclair and LaRue Qyayle Macfarlane prepare to cut cake in special ceremony at a family social honring them on their 50th Wedding Anniversary. 50th Anniversary Macfarlanes honored fhe children of J. Sinclair and LaRue Qyayle Macfarlane Mac-farlane honored their parents with a family social on Saturday Nov. 4, 1978 at the Macfarlane home in celebration of the 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Macfarlane were married Nov. 3, 1928 in St. George. Mr. Macfarlane was born and raised in Cedar City. He was the manager of the IGA Meat and Grocery Store on Main Street for many years. He graduating from LDS Nursing School in 1927, she joined the nursing staff at Iron County Hospital. She worked for 40 years as a devoted round the clock R.N. During these years she served as Superintendent of Iron County Hospital, X-Ray technician and Nurse Anesthetist. Member of LDS Church, served as Relief Society teacher and in the , girls youth program. j Mr. and Mrs. Macfarlane j are the parents of 2 children, i 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Their children are Richard Q. Macfarlane of Manti, and Mrs. Herbert W. (Margielee) Nutt of Granger. retired in 1952. alter which farming became his hobby. Member of LDS Church. Served as a Ward teacher 13 years. Mrs. Macfarlane was born and raised in Mont-pelier. Mont-pelier. Idaho After |
