AND MRS- JACK A. MILLER Miss Margaret Wade, Jack A. Miller say marriage promises in church ceremony the matron of honor and carried car-ried white baskets with lavender lav-ender and pink daisies. Best man was Roger Stratum; Strat-um; and the ushers were Jack R. Jones, Glen Miller, Linford Nelson, Bruce Black-ner, Black-ner, Alan Averett, Del Ray Benson, Jess Hollerman, La-Var La-Var Wade, Ken Wade, and Shirl Wade. Mrs.' Wade wore a lavender knit with white accessories and an orchid corsage. Mrs. Miller's orchid corsage was worn on a pink knit. Helping in the gift room were .Misses . Kaye, . Carman, and Carol Wade and Judy Jensen. Kelly Wade, Kent Wade, Gail Wade, Lance Hollerman, Karren Benson, and Russel- Benson were gift bearers. Judy Wade ' and Kendall Cripps presided at the guest book. - Serving refreshments were Misses Kathy Robinson, Ellen A young Cedar City couple exchanging vows on April 25 were Miss Margaret Wade and Jack A. Miller. Bishop Jay Overson officiated at the double-ring ceremony which took place in the New Cedar Stake Center. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Wade, 128 N. 200 W., are parents of the bride; and Mr. and Mrs. Jack F. Miller, 371 N. 500 W., are the bridegroorh's parents. Following the program and ceremony, - the- newlyweds were feted at a reception which was also held in the Stake Center. The program prior to the ceremony consisted of a reading read-ing of the Bride's Prayer by Carol Wade with background music provided by Ross Glass; and a song, "The Twelfth of Never" by Shirley Stratton, Zelda Smith, Sandra Nelson, and acompanied by Diane Tuckett. The bride's floor-length gown was made of satin and organza trimmed with daisies and pearls. Her elbow length veil was attached to a pearl crown trimmed with rhine-stones. rhine-stones. She carried a large orchid or-chid and stephanotis bouquet trimmed with lavender lace and ribbon streamers. Mrs. Kirby (Janet) Lambert was matron of honor in a floor length gown featuring an empire em-pire waist. The bodice was of pink crepe and the skirt was of deep purple velvet. . The attendants, Miss Wanda Wan-da Stack, Mrs. Robert (Marsha) (Mar-sha) Goodwin, Mrs. Jess (Lynda) (Lyn-da) Hollerman, Mrs. Del Ray (Diane) Benson, and Miss Carol Miller wore dresses of the same pattern but the bodices were, lavender crepe. Flower girls, Jessica Hollerman Holler-man and DeAnn Wade wore dresses of the same color as and Shanna Jolley, Connie Wade, and Becky Leigh. Mrs. Marian Rosenberg, Mrs. Del-la Del-la Wade, Mrs. Afton Middle-ton, Middle-ton, Mrs. Donna Jolley, Mrs. Shirley White, and Mrs. Sarah Robinson helped in the kitchen. kitch-en. Music for both the ceremony and the reception was. furnished furn-ished by Ross Glass. The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed in Las Vcgas before returning re-turning to Cedar where "he is employed at Leigh Furniture and she at Coronet. Both graduated from Cedar High School, and the bride also al-so graduated from the Cosmetology Cos-metology College of Southern Utah. |
