Show Julie Ann Nielson Weds Ronald Stapley In Temple Ceremony Back to work with the Utah Parks after a short honeymoon trip are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Stapley. The young couple exchanged vows in the Mantl LDS Temple on July 29. Performing the double-ring double-ring ceremony was Elder Delbert L. Stapley of the Council of the Twelve. The new Mrs. Stapley Is the former Miss Julie Ann Nielson, daughter of Mrs. Afton Johnson of Ephralm. Mr. Stapley Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Stapley Stap-ley of Cedar City. Following the wedding the couple were honored guests at a reception held at the Ephraim Stake House. The following evening, even-ing, July 30, they were honored in Cedar City at an open house at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Heaton. The bride wore a wedding gown of French chantilly lace and silk organza; The bodice was of lace and the skirt was gored with lace Insets In each seam. Her veil of shoulder length was held by a crown of seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of five large white orchids. Matron of honor was Mrs. Mav d Jensen, sister of the bride; maid of honor was Miss Marjorie Armstrong and bridesmaids brides-maids Included Miss Marilyn Stapley, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Alice Dubose. Attendants were dressed In spice colored oliedth dresses with matching gloves and contrasting brown hats and cumberbums. Performing the duties of best man was the bridegroom's brother, broth-er, Kent Stapley. Ushers were Lynn Sabin. Mayr.ard Jensen and Don Ray Melling. Flowers for the reception and for the reception line were flown from Hawaii by the bridegroom adopted Hawaiian mother, Mrs. Margaret Silva, whom Ronald met while serving on a mission in the Islands. Flowers Included white cattleya and hybrid orchids. or-chids. Reception hall was also decorated with the colorful flowers flow-ers shipped by air from the Islands Is-lands for the occasion. The new Mrs. Stapley Is a graduate of Snow College and is a senior at the Utah State University Uni-versity where she Is majoring in English. Mr. Stapley spent two years at the University of Utah after which he filled an LDS Mission. He returned to USU where he is a senior majoring In chemistry. They will make their home In Logan this fall where both expect ex-pect to graduate next spring. |
