Show Emma Waym Celebrates 90th I Emma Lichtenwalter Wayman of 240 East 300 South, Centerville, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Thursday. She was born Nov. 8, 1889 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of Ernest and Caroline Walsh Lichtenwalter. Lichten-walter. IN 1901 the family moved from the east coast to Tacoma, Wash, and then later settled in Seattle where she spent her early years. It was in 1918 that she met Frank W. Wayman from Centerville Cen-terville who was working in the Bremerton, Wash. Navy Yard. They were married Jan. 28, 1920 in Seattle, Wash. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake IDS TemDle. ON JULY 25, 1921 a daughter, Virginia, was born. It was only a few years later that Frank became very ill and died March 10, 1929. Emma and her daughter moved to Centerville and lived in the Wayman family home until 1932. Four years later Virginia became very ill with nephritis and died on Dec. 15, 1936 at age 15. EMMA WORKED at Hill AFB and maintained a beautiful beau-tiful flower and vegetable garden. She loved to cook and sew and made all of her own clothing. She taught in the Primary and Relief Society organizations organiza-tions of the Centerville First Ward.
