Show For acting parts Southern Utahns needed for Festival roles are available for four young women in "As You Like It." These roles are not speaking roles, but they are important as scenery help, being responsible for several quick scenery changes. CEDAR CITY -Several roles for the 1982 Utah Shakespearean Festival will be filled by local Southern Utah people, according to Festival officials. Children's roles are particularly important in this summer's productions, produc-tions, as children appear in all three plays. Casting will be by auditions June 4 at 4 p.m. in the Adams Memorial Shakespearean Theatre.- All supernumerary roles are volunteer positions, and anyone wishing further information in-formation is asked to contact the Utah Shakespearean Festival information number, 801-586-7880. Some of the roles include in-clude speaking and . singing, and some of the roles require only presence on the stage. "As You Like It" will have two young boys playing pages, and singing ability is im portant. Age is flexible. "Romeo And Juliet" will feature a young boy age 10-12 and a young girl under 10 as well as four pages. "Henry IV, Part II" will offer parts to two male children who will alternate in one role. Ages for these children should be 7 to 9 years, and this role does not include speaking. All children, however, should be prepared to read from any of the three plays. Other supernumerary |
