Show Institute graduation set; Day to be guest speaker CEDAR CITY - The assistant commissioner of Church Education for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be the speaker at the Institute of Religion graduation May 23. Frank D. Day will be the guest speaker at the activities, which begin at 7; 30 p.m. in the institute chapel. The theme will be "If Christ Should Come Tomorrow." Student speakers will be Deborah Ashdown and Ivan Wesley Cooper. There will be 28 graduates. Day has a B.A. degree in history and political science from Brigham Young University, with a minor in ancient scripture. scrip-ture. He also has an Ed. D. in education administration ad-ministration from BYU. Also, his special interests in-terests include history, horticulture and reading. He has 30 years experience ex-perience in the Church educational system. |
