If it's been some time, you haven't been to the Olde Church Theatre in Springdale. Set against the magnificent, red cliffs of Zion Canyon, the Olde Church Theatre opens its doors this summer for the first time. Featuring a wide range of entertainment, en-tertainment, the theatre draws upon talent from within and without the local area. "The Last Gilded Bird, or Something's Fishy in San Francisco," will premiere June 17. Written by BYU Theatre Arts graduate Chris J. Grayson, and brother, Michael, the melodrama is followed by a rollicking, vaudeville show. People looking for a delightful mix of comedy, music, film, and live action, will find the "Minstrel-Variety Show" a must. Soaring through a rainbow of entertainment, en-tertainment, the show finally settles after the last patron exits, and the last "candle" is snuffed. In addition to these, Bob Davison, award- winning wildlife photographer, has been engaged to share some rare footage and insights into the hazards and joys of wildlife photography. In his "Evening with a Wildlife Photographer," Davison also provides some enlightening moments with live animals from the wild, which he has personally raised. As Davison is currently shooting for "Wild Kingdom," his engagement is limited. Tickets must be reserved early. Classic films are the fare for Monday evenings during June and July, and Sunday nights provide the public with a ' variety of wildlife films and other special entertainment. en-tertainment.
