Show NARFE meets for luncheon CEDAR CITY Nineteen members of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Em-ployees met at the Town & Country Restaurant May 10 for their monthly business luncheon. Albert Clark, vice president presided in place of Jerry Meinart who was involved in a search for a downed plane, with the search and rescue team. The nine members who attended the recent state convention in Ogden reported having an excellent ex-cellent time and receiving information which is vital to retirees. Foyer Olson, fourth vice president of the State Federation gave his report, emphasizing the need to keep in touch with Congressmen to learn how much they are supporting Federal retirees. Robert E. Williams also discussed several important items which were discussed or acted upon, such as local and federal dues, insurance, signing up new members and plans for attending the National Convention to be in Denver during the month of October. |
