Show Twenty-one Boys Leave For Armed Services This Month Twenty-one boys have received their calls and have left or will leave this month for induction into the U. S. armed services. The Navy group left on Sept. 17th, and the Army group are expected to go in the next couple of weeks. The following Selectees left on Friday, Sept. 17: David Spencer Esplin and John Thurmer Jacobs, both of St. George; Layne Walton Jepson of Hurricane and Mack B. Excell, of Springdale, all of the Navy. The Marines claimed one enlistee, en-listee, that being Wesley Evan Hirschi, of St. George. The following will leave within the next two weeks: Duane Jay Leany, Stanley Neil-son Neil-son Sorenson, Dayne A n d r u s Mathis and Howard White May-hew, May-hew, all of St. George; James LaVan Ballard, Calvin Harvey Ballard and William Evans Woodbury Wood-bury Jr., of Hurricane; Andrew R. Olds, Toquerville; Howard Crawford Ruesch, Springdale ; "Wayne Murvin Cox and Robert Maynard Stock, of LaVerkin; Clare Lorin Reber and Kenneth Ence, Santa Clara; and John W. Huntsman, Enterprise. |
