Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Reporter Mrs. Janet Hopkins Woolsey has received word that her son, Pvt. Grant Hopkins is hospitalized in Georgia following an appendectomy. appendec-tomy. Pvt. Hopkins reports he is recovering rapidly and will soon be well again. Speakers at our Sacrament services were Sgt. Vivian Prince, and Rulon Orton, school principal. Their remarks were timely and interesting. On Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Parley Moyle of Enterprise and Mr. and Mrs. Riley C. Savage and family of Leeds motored to the LeRoy Grant ranch where they enjoyed a corn and chicken roast. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Grant and Mr. and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman. Mrs. Ashby Pace received word Wednesday of the death of her aunt, Mrs. James Thornton of Provo. Merl Prince, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Irving Prince, returned re-turned Friday from Fort Douglas to await his official call to enter military training in aviation. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. James L. Prince and family assembled on the lawns at the home of Sarah P. Davis, where a supper and social was held honoring hon-oring their son, Sgt. Vivian Prince who is home on a 15-day furlough from the Army. Mrs. Wilden Tweedie and children child-ren of Las Vegas and Miss Rose-mond Rose-mond Wood of Hurricane spent several days at New Harmony last week visiting their father, Ether Wood at his farm home. |
