Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Elmo Sproul, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sproul, is home for a visit with his parents, arriving last week from Balboa, Panama Canal Zone, where he has been employed for the past four or five years. Mr. Sproul will be remembered for his activities in music at the Dixie junior college. He brings interesting stories of his sojourn in Balboa, where he is a construction foreman. ' Mrs. Mamie Prince, sister of Elmo Sproul, arrived Sunday from Salt Lake City to visit relatives. Mrs. Lillian Jones of Ogden is a guest since Sunday of Bishop and Mrs. Alton Jones. Mrs. Mary Allen left Sunday for Salt Lake City where she will receive medical care. Darrel Hafen returned last week from Tooele, where he has had summer employment. Bishop and Mrs. Alton Jones entertained a group of relatives at their home last Thursday evening eve-ning honoring their nephew, Sgt. Wendell Crosby, who was home on a five-day transfer furlough from Louisiana to Indio, Calif. The Washington Factory camp of the D. U. P. will hold their first meeting of the season this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. W. O. Nisson in Washington. |
