Show Bridge Scores Indicate Close Race In Bond Party Program Scores to date on the Bond drive Bridge contest were announced an-nounced today by Mrs. John J. Phoenix Jr., chairwoman of the county women's Bond drive committee. com-mittee. At the present, the group headed head-ed by Mrs. Jennie Brown is leading lead-ing with a score of 2.750 points. Her group is closely followed by Mrs. R. N. Ashby's group with a score of 2.500 and in third place is Mrs. Wayne Whitehead's group with 2,225 points. Mrs. Phoenix points out that there are other groups which are closely trailing the leaders so that the i final score may show a different group leading. Reoer, LaVon McQuaid, Emerald Cox, Hyrum Thomas, Marion Bowler, Willard Milne and Miss Florence Foremaster. Anyone wanting to participate f the final program, which is to e held next Wednesday night in the Woodward school gymnasium, may do so by holding their party Pnor to that time. The final program pro-gram is under the direction of Mrs. Roy Williams. Mrs. Phoenix announces that the committee has aPProximatey $13 at the present time in the fund which will be divided among the winners at this program. |
