Show Kanarraville Harlan and LaDene , Walker from Cedar City spent Wednesday afternoon af-ternoon visiting with their brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Carma Williams. Bert Eastman and friend, Bill Gillespie, from the Sunshine Food Store in Cedar City spent the day in Las Vegas on business for the food store. Mr. and Mrs. John Gallis from Costa Mesa, Calif., spent a few days here with their daughter, Suzie. Suzie accompanied ac-companied them home to stay until the middle of April; she has joined the U.S. Army and will leave from there. Spending the day with Elmer and Bessie Davis and Sylva Williams were I Waldo and Mae Reeves, j Alenna and Plorn j Williams, Cedar City, I yieir nephew, Henry Blake, St. George; and I Carolyn Botts, Alabama. I Henry and Carolyn were married Thursday and an i open house was held Saturday at the home of I Henry's brother, David I and Jolynn Davis, in St. I George. ' By CARMA WILLIAMS Record Correspondent Mr. Virgil Davis traveled to Salt Lake City with his son and daughter-in-law, " Robert and Deanne Davis, of Cedar City. Virgil went to see the eye doctor. Marvin and Ardella Bryan and Marvin's mother, Eva Boggs from Salt Lake City, returned home after spending two weeks in Las Vegas visiting family members. Mrs. Ruth Williams and children from Cedar City spent the day here with her in-laws, Bevan and Doris Williams. 'Diana Munf ord. traveled to Las Vegas this week with her mother, Bertha Ramos. They stayed over night with their sister and daughter, Babe Ramos. Miss Teresa Jones, former resident of Kanarra, spent the afternoon af-ternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Davis visiting her friend, Marilee Davis. Miss Heidi Williams, daughter of Kenny and Angie Williams; Darlene Smith, daughter of Allen and Nollen Smith; and Lovey, daughter of Bud and Lynn Williams, were appointed in the Honor Society at the Middle School in Cedar City. We congratulate these young ladies for their fine work. 13 of our scout leaders attended the Phase Three Scouting program at Southern Utah State College on Wednesday. Last week I stated that Micky Wallace and son, David, went to Reno to take David to stay with his father. But Micky has enrolled David in school at Lake Tahoe and she has employment there. Mrs. Doneva Prisbrey from New Harmony visited briefly with her son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Sherry Prisbrey and family. |
