Show Ram Rod awards PELS students cited Vincent has been, and still is, an outstanding student. She is always contributing to class activities and doing outstanding work. She is very considerate of others and a real pleasure to work with, said the citation. PAROWAN - The Parowan High School PTA has announced the March recipients of the Parpwan Ram Rod awards. The awards are given monthly by the PTA to a student from each of the six classes for contributions con-tributions to the school in various areas. The students are chosen by the PHS faculty. Winners for March were Danny Adams, senior; Raquel Rowley, junior; Gina Coulsby, sophomore; Raymond Allton, freshman; Shalyn Nelson, eighth grade; and Darla Vincent, seventh grade. According to the PTA announcement Adams is a reliable scholar, who not only seeks answers, but searches for explanations ex-planations for those answers. "In measuring the man, we can measure Danny by both his size and his intellect," it said. Rowley "never' has anything of a negative nature to say about anyone and is a joy and a delight to have in the classroom," said her citation. She takes a warmth and a special light wherever she goes. Coulsby has caught the spirit of learning. "She is infused with enthusiasm which she spreads through Parowan High, and she brings a positive attitude to class with her every day." Allton "is a very quiet person who absorbs knowledge in the same quiet way," said the citation. He is always enthusiastic about learning and always has a positive attitude. Nelson has a good attitude toward learning. "He has a good self discipline and pushes himself so he can gain more knowledge that will' enhance his personal life," said the citation. |
