Show New Castle ReVoe Hulet traveled to Salt Lake last week to attend the Womens Conference as delegates lor the Iron County Farm Bureau. A large number of townspeople enjoyed an outstanding evening Wednesday night, March 11, at the Iron County Cattlemen's Banquet. By NORMA CIIRISTENSEN- Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones were visitors in St. George at the home of their daughter and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Carolyn) Atkin. Gordon Knell has been visiting in Salt Lake at the homes of his children, Mike Knell, and Mr. and . Mrs. Robert (Kathie) Smith and family. Mike came down for the weekend to be with his family and took Gordon back with him. LuDean Forsyth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth, was a weekend visitor at the home of her parents. LuDean is employed in Salt Lake City. A missionary farewell was held Sunday in the New Castle ward in honor of Leland Gentry, son of Ellis and Lorraine Gentry. Leland is going to England on his mission. Family members here for the occasion were David from Las Vegas, Nev., where he is employed; Cindy from Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Terry (Laura) Bird from Bennion; Mr. and Mrs. Kent (Vickie) Loveridge; and Mark from Murray. Other family members and friends were Alice, Jocelyne, and Karl Hagberg of Sandy; Rick Edgington of West Valley; Eldon Gentry, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gentry, Mrs. Mae Porter, Mrs. Elma Gentry and sons Doug and Tim, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sullival, all of St. George. Lorraine served a buffet luncheon at their home and a day of reunion and visiting was enjoyed by everyone. Bishop and Mrs. Normand Laub are the proud grandparents of a new little boy, born March 7 in Salt Lake City ' to their daughter and son-in-law, David and Lynette Judd. Barbara went to Salt Lake to help Lynette and Normand and LaDell drove up Wednesday, to bring Barbara home and to also bid farewell to their daughter Laurie who left Wednesday to take up her duties in the San Bernardino Ber-nardino California mission. mis-sion.
