Show Town Council meets PARAGONAH-Power and water were the major points of interest at the regular meeting of the Paragonah Town Board Saturday. William Williamson came to the board saying that his television had been damaged during a recent power fluctuation. He said that the fluctuation fluc-tuation had damaged the set and tha't somebody ought to be responsible for such. ' The board told him to take the problem to Parowan City because it provides the power to Paragonah. A request by Dwaine Lamoreaux, a local realtor, to have culinary water extended outside the city limits to one of his clients was turned down by the board. The board felt that the property in question was too far outside the town and further questioned whether the town had enough water to service outside residences of this nature anyway. A request by Dale Robinson that he not have to pay the $15 demand charge on water service was also turned, down by the board., Robinson made the complaint that the demand charge, placed on water service to stock and summer homes, was done illegally. |
