Show Farrell Murie FARRELL B. MURIE, 60, of Washington died March 14, 1981, in a Salt Lake Hospital of leukemia. He was born April 15, 1920, in Cedar City, the son of David and Cora Beatty Murie. He married Leah Pickering May 24, 1946, in Enterprise. En-terprise. Farrell was reared in Cedar City and educated in Cedar City schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He lived in Milford for 14 years, later moving : to Enterprise, and moving to Washington in 1971. He has been employed by the Bureau of Land Management, and is a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Murie of St. George; and three daughters: Mrs. John (Linda) Hiatt of Kearns, Mrs. Colleen Tipton of Washington, and Mrs. Gary (Anette) Humphrey of Cedar City. Also surviving are six grandchildren; a brother, Don Murie, of Enoch; and three sisters: Mrs. Jim (Kathryn) Applegate of Cedar City, Mrs. Bryant (Belva) Anderson of Cedar City, and Mrs. Roland (Ellen) Anderson of St. George. Y Funeral services were held Mar. 17 at 12 noon in the Washington LDS Stake Center under direction of Metcalf Mortuary. The interment was in the Washington City Cemetery. |
