Show Scholarship granted rf 1 1 " ' Li Lauana Staheli i Scholarship for 1981-82. Lavana Staheli, ' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stanford Staheli, Enterprise, will use the full-tuition scholarship her senior year at SUSC. She plans to graduate from SUSC next June with an elementary education major, lear- , ning disabilities endorsement, en-dorsement, and to teach in Utah. "The SUSC Faculty Senate is pleased to be able to support students who have demonstrated capacities for high academic achievement in their chosen majors," said Senate President Robert Young. "Each year the faculty organization awards a full-tuition scholarship to an outstanding SUSC student." Staheli is a 1973 graduate of Enterprise High School. She graduated from Snow College in 1975, an honor student earning the associate of arts degree. She served an LDS Canada-Winnipeg Mission Mis-sion prior to enrolling at SUSC last summer as the recipient of a State Normal Scholarship. The SUSC junior is a violinish for the SUSC Symphony Orchestra. She has earned a 4.0 grade point average, or straight "A" work, her two quarters at SUSC, An elementary education major with minors in fine arts and reading has been awarded the Southern Utah State College Faculty Senate |
