Show Class menu 'unique' The evening school menu for spring quarter at Southern Utah State College may not be an extensive one, but courses are unique, interesting in-teresting and fulfilling. Registration for evening school and classes from skin and scuba diving to blueprint reading and plant identification will be held March 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the SUSC Administration Building. "Budgetary restraints have limited evening school and continuing education offerings, but the courses available are among the most popular and time-proven offered at SUSC," said Pauline H. Nelson, assistant vice president for academic affairs. "Two of these are the woodworking laboratory and a class in lapidary and jewelry making." The evening school agenda includes 12 credit-non-credit classes, four non-credit classes and a nine-week workshop especially designed for women who are interested in-terested in going into business for themselves. Schedules are available free of charge at the registrar's office. "Evening school classes begin the week of March 23, the same week regular daytime classes begin," Nelson said. "We encourage everyone to check over the schedule. Take a class to work on a degree, improve job skills, brighten your self-image self-image or strictly for the fun of learning." |
