Show Former resident dies in California ter Helen Foster Snow of Madison, Mad-ison, Conn., and his brother John (Jack) M. Foster, Jr., En-glewood, En-glewood, Colo. The deceased was born in Layton, Utah in 1912 and came to Cedar City as a child, where he lived until shortly before World War II. He was working for the Federal government gov-ernment in Washington, D. C. when he joined the Navy during dur-ing World War II. After' receiving re-ceiving an honorable dscharge he returned to Washington, D. C, where he met and married Jessie Walk. Subsequently they returned to Cedar City, where Monroe worked for Utah Construction Company. In 1950 they moved to Long Beach, where they have remained. re-mained. Foster was the son of John Moody Foster, former Cedar City and Iron County Attorney, and Hannah Davis Foster. He is survived by hs wfe, hs sis- |
