Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER TIM-BER SALE, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, WHITEMAN BENCH SALE, located within T37 S, R4W; T36S, R4W; Salt Lake Base and Meridian. SEALED bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor or his authorized auth-orized representative at the office of the Forest Supervisor, Forest Service Building, Cedar Ce-dar City, Utah 84720, at 11:00 a. m., Mountain Standard Time, March 23, 1970, to be followed immediately by oral bidding, for an estimated 3,680 M board feet of live and recently dead (sound sap-wood) sap-wood) timber marked or otherwise other-wise designated for cutting. Th.e minimum acceptable bid per M board feet is: Ponderosa Pine, $11.04; Douglas Fir, $8.02; White Fir, $1.00; and Englemann Spruce, $3.08. Additional Ad-ditional deposit required for slash disposal is $0.14 per M board feet for all species. The bid rates will be subject sub-ject to adjustment during the period of the sale as provided for by quarterly adjustment provisions of the timber sale contract. In addition there is within the sale area an I unestimated volume of older dead (unsound sapwood) tim- I ber of all species which will be paid for at a flat rate of $1.00 per M board feet.
