Show NEWCASTLE NOTES Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet traveled to Southern California Califor-nia on a business and pleasure plea-sure trip. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison Harri-son have had their little grandchildren visiting with them for a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hart traveled to Salt Lake City recently re-cently where they took their daughter Amy for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Evans and family of Las Vegas Veg-as were weekend visitors at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Another daughter and her husband, Mr. aand Mrs. Jim (Linda) Christiansen of Beaver Bea-ver visited Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Van-derPoel Van-derPoel of Chino, Calif., visited visit-ed last week with the Boyd and Russell Christensen families. fam-ilies. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Watson and family traveled to southern south-ern California last week. Mike Knell was home over the weekend with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell. Mike lives in Moab where he is employed with First Security Secur-ity Bank. Miss Elaine Forsyth was home over the weekend with her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Forsyth. Another daughter, Mrs. Yvonne Wright of Kanab also visted with her folks. Recent visitors at the Boyd Christensen home were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Snow and Mr. and Mrs. Max Swapp of St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Steele and family of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Christensen and family of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones are happy to have their son Steve home. He was releaased from the Air Force. Their daughter Corlyn, who lives in Salt Lake City, was home for the weekend. The Newcastle Ward held a building fund dinner Saturday Satur-day night at the Community Hall in Beryl. |
