Cedar Junior High School ninth grade Warriors, Brad Jackson 30, Ted Smith 34, and Nathan Johnson 24 throw up one against Lincoln County Junior Varsity. CJH Warriors won contest 5(1 to 43. Cox leads team to win over Lincoln Kerry Cox, leading scorer for the Cedar Junior High Ninth Grade basketball team hit for 14 points and captured 13 rebounds in leading the Warriors to a 56 to i:i victory over the Lincoln County Junior Varsity. Cox was ably assisted by his teammates. The Warriors led at halltime 33-13. In the last quarter Lincoln took advantage of poor passing by intercepting three long passes in a row which brought them within 8 points. High scorer for Lincoln was Bleak with 19. They travel to Lincoln County High School Jan. 17 lor a prelimary game at 4:30 p.m, Nevada time. The Warriors battle Dixie Jan. 22 at 3 p. m. in St. George. |
