Show Museum Club slates lecture Jan. 23rd Careers for men and women with the Bureau of Land Management will be the topic of discussion at the first meeting of the Southern Utah State College Museum Club January 23. The initial meeting by the newly formed SUSC group "should be of particular interest for students involved in the biological, physical and social sciences as well as for those in business administration," Richard A. Thompson, club advisor, said. Speakers for the evening will be BLM personnel from the Cedar District, Susan Cedarleaf, surface protection officer, and Harold E. Isaacson, district manager. "The BLM is forecast as one of the more rapidly growing government agencies, particularly par-ticularly now, because of the increased interest in environmental en-vironmental concerns," Dr. Thompson said. The meeting will be held in Science 102 beginning at 7 p.m. Time permitting, Museum Club officers will be elected. |
